By exposing her canvases to the ecosystem, there is a weathering that completes each painting, solidifying its physical connection to the land and, in the words of the artist, ‘serving as a time- and site-specific record of the natural world’.

Roche’s paintings move beyond simply depicting her surrounds and reflect the atmospheric changes and emotive qualities of the land at night. Her surety of touch reveals her empathetic relationship with the environment and deep understanding of the power of nature.

Lesley + Nev | Australian Bushfire Auction

March 2020

Meet Lesley & Nev Clarke, an Adelong couple who recently lost most of their belongings when the Dunn’s Road Fire ripped through their home of 20 years on January 4th 2020.

This week I will auction off an artwork I painted in early November in response to the fires surrounding Sydney.

Here is the opportunity to purchase a large interpretive landscape with the TOTAL proceeds going towards a beautiful Australian couple who have been affected by these devastating fires.
