MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery
2022-2023
Julia was a participant in the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery Mentorship Program with artist Dr Helen Grace and curator Julie Ewington.
This structured program of professional development for regional artists, invites the participation of early to mid-career artists across a range of opportunities including exhibitions, residencies, professional mentorship, workshops and talks. Her involvement also included peer-to-peer mentorship with WA based artist Anna Louise Richardson.
Julia’s period of mentorship culminated in a curated exhibition opportunity, paired with Sydney based curator and writer Hayley Megan French.
When our eyes adjust was exhibited at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery from 23 March – 23 June, and Defiance Gallery in Sydney from 27 July – 17 August 2024.
